Dupa dezamagirea “Quicksilver<\/a>” si durerea in prea multe pagini “Binding 13<\/a>“, pur si simplu nici o carte nu imi mai satisfacea piticul cititor din creier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mi-a pl\u0103cut Gild<\/em>.<\/a> Asta e. Conceptul, lumea, scrisul \u2014 captivante. Dar cartea e un labirint al frustr\u0103rilor, \u00eentreb\u0103rilor \u0219i haosului str\u0103lucitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auren \u2014 the \u201csaved\u201d girl \u2014 reacts like any human would in a world of danger and loneliness. She clings to the boy, the man, the savior. I get it. I don\u2019t necessarily agree with it, but I understand it. Survival instincts are messy and sometimes mistaken for love. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

\ud83d\udc51 Midas: The Man, The Myth, The Manipulator<\/h2>\n\n

Midas, on the other hand\u2026 he needs a stern lesson in humility. He loves her, sure, but he also sees her as a bargaining chip. He doesn\u2019t hesitate to use that leverage, regardless of her feelings, because he knows she loves him more. She becomes collateral damage to his ego \u2014 taken for granted, manipulated, adored only when convenient. <\/p>\n\n

” Saddles” – really? I think the ambiguity is intentional. <\/p>\n\n

Midas is numea concubinele “sei”, pentru ca singura lor utilitate era de a fi calarite. At one point, the story loses its focus, and then there\u2019s the infamous \u201cgold pirate captain\u201d moment. Let\u2019s be honest \u2014 the book expects us to accept it. No groundwork, no explanation, no buildup. But it inadvertently reveals something brilliant: Auren is the real golden touch. <\/p>\n\n

Yet questions remain: What exactly was Auren saved from? How did Midas, the rogue, become a king overnight? And where is her old guard? The story leaves gaps, characters vanish, plot threads are teased and abandoned. <\/p>\n\n

Despite all of this \u2014 the frustrations, the unanswered questions, the head-scratching moments \u2014 I am hooked. And now, I\u2019m diving into the second book, hungry for answers, drama, and more of Auren discovering just how golden she truly is. <\/p>\n\n
